My favorite thing about working in healthcare is the people. This industry brings together brilliant, highly-motivated individuals who are driven by the opportunity to make a difference. That’s why I wanted to start a podcast (I know, I know, I’m like 3 years late on this)… to share their stories with the world. And so here we are!

Today I’m excited to introduce you to … 🥁… The Heart of Healthcare Podcast.

The goal is to expand the lens of what we traditionally think of as “healthcare” by exploring the social determinants of health, including our food system, housing, climate change, cost, access, and more.

Here are the first people you will hear from:

From top left: Halle Tecco (Host), Dr. John Brownstein (CIO of Boston Children’s Hospital), Lash Nolan (first Black woman class president at Harvard Medical School), Dr. Megan Ranney (Founder of AFFIRM), Dr. Elisabeth Rosenthal (author of An American Sickness), Dr. Charity Dean (Founder & CEO of the Public Health Company), Catherine Coleman Flowers (Founder of the Center for Rural Enterprise and Environmental Justice), and Dr. Margot Kushel (Director UCSF Benioff Homelessness and Housing Initiative)

Okay now please go subscribe to The Heart of Healthcare on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever you listen to podcasts!
